Well i believe the Broncos took care of what they needed to take care of by addressing their needs.
The trading up to snag Jarvis Moss baffled me because I thought if they were going to make a move they should have made it for Okeye or Carriker, never the less Moss is a speedy defensive end and the Broncos unlike a Oakland Raiders team are not trying to fill 10 holes, they need certain players for certain situations and I believe that Moss will make that impact on 2nd and long and 3rd down situations, with Dumerville at his side. I think Tim Crowder was another great pick because he played for a big time college football team in a tough conference and had 10.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and a touchdown which shows he has the athleticism that is needed in the NFL. As for Ryan Harris , well he is a small framed lineman @ 6'4 290. Hopefully he can put on some NFL pounds in the pre season. The good thing about Harris is that he has started in 44 strait games so he has the durability for an NFL season. As for the rest of the NFL well I am surprised Quinn fell and the Dolphins didn't take him. i would be mad too Mel. Raiders got JaMarcus which I believe will only improve the team and Detroit scooped up Calvin johnson which I feel the same can only improve the Lions. Both teams can't get any worse can they?

I was a bit surpised by some of the picks today, especially Quinn falling so deep to #22 overall. I like Ted Ginn Jr, extremely fast, could be a big threat in the NFL, but I certainly don't think he was worth a #9 pick. The Dolphins needed to fill so many gaps and one of them being QB - they better hope they can get a trade for Trent Green.

No surprise with the top 3 selections, JaMarcus Russell will certainly improve the Raiders (just not this next season), but if they can keep the core of that offense for the next 2-3 years, the Raiders could potentially be a contender.

I like Calvin Johnson, guy is a stud - and I know Detroit had to take the best available player, but it's like damn...another receiver.

I think the Browns had an excellent day #1 - they gave up a lot to go get Quinn @ #22, but to have Quinn and Joe Thomas to beef up your offense, Crennel has himself some talent up there in Cleveland. I'd like to see them do well, especially for Crennel.

I do like Denver's draft choices, and Red I do have to agree with you. Not sure why we moved up 4 spots to grab Jarvis Moss. Perhaps Jax was entertaining other trade offers and the Broncos knew one of those teams wanted Moss. Either way, we got 2 DE from big time programs so hopefully that will improve our pass rush. While I agree that Ryan Harris is a bit small, in comparison to the other Broncos lineman, he fits right in with the scheme.

Day #2 should be good - I am very interested to see where Buffs kicker Mason Crosby ends up. This kid has one hell of a leg and could be an excellent addition to a teams kicking game.
