A Real Test

Kurt Warner looked better then he did in his HyVee checkout uniform this past Sunday when he tossed 3 TD's in a win of the 49ers. The true test to see what this loaded offense can do will be this Sunday VS the Seahawks. With a stacked offense and the addition of The Edge these guys might be for real.

Offensively they are a threat - Kurt Warner is a decent QB who reads defenses well and has a pretty good arm - just no mobility. Which is why they brought in Edge. Sure Edge will give them a whole new dimension, but don't take it too seriously, they will continue to be a mostly 1-side dimension team (passing).

As far as them being for "real" - I guess that's how you see the team finishing. Most say they should take a run for the Wild Card spot at least, whereas some say being real is having a better record than last season. With this much offensive power, you should expect this offense to do well, but to be considered a for real team in my opinion, they better get a better defense. San Francisco moved the ball on them with ease and though the score doesn't reflect Seattle, they also had no problem.

But I will be rooting for the Cards this year, I would really like to see them make a run for the playoffs or that division.

Well theylost 21-10. Rackers missed 2 50 yarders which could have made the game a little more interesting. Warner threw a pick. We'll have to keep an eye on this ball club.
