NFC West St Louis Rams
Finished 2004 season 8-8, 2nd place behind Seattle
Key returning starters:
Marshall Faulk - RB
Stephen Jackson - RB
Marc Bulger - QB
Torry Holt - WR
Issac Bruce - WR
The Rams defense has been the notible problem last year and is still a concern heading into the 2005 campaign. The Rams, had arguably one of the worst run defenses in the league last season hope to improve. Can the explosive Rams offense return to the field? This is one team that could be very dangerous in the post season if their special teams and defense improve dramatically.
2004 Stats:
Ranked 6th overall in offense, #3 ranked in NFC
Ranked 17th overall in defense, #8 ranked in NFC

Have you seen the Rams schedule?
They only play two games against teams that won 10 or more games in 2004. Home games againsts Cards, 49ers, Skins, Saints, Seahawks and Titans should all be wins. If they can split the other 10 games this team could win 10 or 11. Bulger can putup the numbers, Bruce and Holt are dangerous and Jackson and Faulfk are a great combo. With a middle of the road "D" they can win the division, if the D is terrible then they have a three team race in this division.

Rams are just a stacked team. Johnny, you pointed out something I was going to mention which was about their schedule. They do have a rather easy schedule so the games they should win, they better win in order to take this division.
Because of the emergence of Stephen Jackson as the #1 RB in St Louis, and Bulger within that explosive offense, I am going to pick the Rams to win the NFC West this year with a 10-6 record. I don't believe they will go far into the playoffs though, because I don't believe they are good enough as a team to accomplish that, but what a roster full of fantasy picks....Holt, Jackson, Bulger, Bruce - heck, I bet you even Faulk still goes in the late late rounds.
