Denny "Blow Job Away" Neagle
I guess Denny got what he paid for...a blow job, blew his job right out of Colorado. Not that I necessarily agree with terminating his contract over a little oral sex solicitation, but the recent run ins with the law, not having thrown a pitch in 2004, time for that guy to go.
I think the Rockies seriously need to look at their own management and the players they decide to give lucrative contracts too. Two pitchers out the window, both combined to make 170 million bucks in which the Rockies had to pay the majority of it.

Haa, Nice post Steve! I think that this is a great oppertunity for the Rockies if they can get rid of his salary. I can't believe they gave up Vinny Castilla. I wonder why Denny Neagle would steep this low when he is rich enough to get a hooker in Vegas. He ruined his career and his family probably. Sad day for Denny.
No Mike, never paid for a BJ...atleast not directly. The $$$ I do spend on my fiancee earns me BJ's, so in a sense it's like paying for one.
Here's a baseball question though, does the altitude have anything to do with a pitcher coming to Coors field and being consistent? Hampton and Neagle had success elsewhere before coming to Colorado, so I'm curious if there are elements that are being over-looked or if these two pitchers were just that bad. I think they were over-rated, had good seasons and now have shown it.
I don't think baseball will last long in Colorado unless the team starts winning. Poor player decisions.
I think the whole altititude thing his hawgwash and wish it were never brought up because pro baseball in Colorado is now tarnished because of all the so called baseball experts that exploited the whole altitude theory. BS! Man BS! It's just an excuse! Mike Hampton = over rated shit talking slime bucket. Denny Neagle = What an ass, I can't stand this bumb. Please Mr Odowd save baseball in Denver....
I agree. Baseball really doesn't need someone like Neagle doing what he's doing since baseball is at an all-time low.
Baseball needs to have better drug testing standards and also institute a salary cap.
Somebody actually paid HER to give him a blow job? Damn, with the kind of money he was making I'd be a whole lot more selective on who wraps their kisser around my peter.
I'm in the "I don't care anymore" category. I used to love baseball like it was my daughter, but the years of strikes and player free agencies and avaricious agents and a host of other maladies put more than just a black eye on the whole face of baseball for me. It is sad that baseball is corrupted by the very players who take the fields, but the owners are just as much to blame.
I don't feel sorry for Danny- he knew what he was getting himself into.
Two points: Curve balls and sliders don't move as well up here as they do at sea level. Absolute fact. Secondly, Aravada Mike looks more like Butt Reynolds to me.
