Say it ain't Sosa!

Sammy Sosa's agent reported today that Sammy Sosa is likely to retire. With all the stuff that has happned to Sosa the past few years between steroids and corked bats, where does this leave Sammy Sosa's legacy as a pro baseball player and is he a HOF contender?

Same place it left Mark McGwire...

So sad that baseball is such an "easy" sport to cheat in because of the most ridiculous lenient rules of any sport.

Sosa’s legacy though will be defined by how many championships he won…

Which is zero right Steve? Couldn't agree more. The guy was something else at one time, he had that 3 year span where he smacked out 60 or more I belive it was. After the roids thing and the corky bat, he will go down in history as a shmuck.

Good question...I'll go with Mr Consistant Albert Pujols or A-Rod...either pick will bring me a lot of points.

Albert Pujols should lead the fantasy baseball season but A-Rod is and Johnny Damon together @the top of a lineup with Jeter Matsui Posada and whoever else they add to the mix the fuckin Yankees are sick to bad I like what the Jays did this offseason cause second place might get them wild card. Steinbrenner will be on top again. What an owner all should aspire to doing it like that. Do you ever notice that Yankee stadium doesnt sell the outfield seats almost all season but magically fills up in October God loves the Yankees

Sammy Sammy Sammy you got to old you worked really hard at corking the bats and taking good steroids but you fell short of the great list now who knows? You strike out way to much and how many championships do you have on your resume? Please remind me as I am trying to qualify you based on 500+ foot bombs that may have been corked & steroid induced? Not in my book unless you come back get to that elite level of home runs in your career let them test every bat and give you daily ua's then maybe.
