If you have not read this weeks Sports Illustrated with the excerpt on the Bonds book, I highly recommend it! After reading this, you will understand the pblic outcry to have Bonds IMMEDIATELY suspended (aka. Pete ROse, Shoeless Joe, etc) BEFORE he breaks the hallowed record of the Babe, the greatest slugger ever to live.
come on let Big Barry get the record leave the steroid crap alone it is baseball's fault that they cant suspend him or even get mad. MLB had no testing in place and all athletes get ahead where they can. Hey I never heard anyone say they were going to take away wins of pitchers who admitted to cheating or hits away from players who took greenies or other forms of speed cause they drank to much the night before. Hey maybe Jefferson should take away the 3 homeruns I hit against Montbello cause I was on LSD! Plus the mammoth homer I hit @ Douglas County cause I was stoned. The 2 hit shut out against Roy Holliday and A. West yeah I was sippin 100 proof peppermint schnapps plus strung out take those back also. 2 more homers against Kennedy for acid plus the games in all the tournaments I played in cause I was never sober and all those influences contributed to my dominanace as a baseball player!!!
