Remember when your old pal Bill Buckner did this and the Mets went on to win the 86 world series? Well even if you do slip by the Yanks in game 7 your gonna lose to the Astros or Cards trust me. It isn't meant to happen, it never has and never will. I gotta give it up to Big Curt playing injured and shutting down the Yanks but don't you Sox fans know that your just setting yourself up for more pain. Lose now and save the anguish! Game 7 Red Sox VS The Great Yankees! Wow who could ask for more then this and for the curse to stay intact would be even greater! Good luck in game 7 BoSox but don't get your hopes up because it's gonna hurt even worse now.

Always nice to see true Yankee fans bagging on the Red Sox, but I have been highly impressed with the Sox thus far in this series. Facing the adversity of being down 0-3 in the best of 7 series against arguably the best team in baseball (atleast the best all around talent), forcing a game 7, 1st time in history I believe. I think a 3-game streak can do 1 of two things....
1) Carry a lot of momentum into game #7, which I think the Sox fans and players believe they can actually win this thing or
2) Have too much momentum getting every player to think instead of just perform. Each player might step up to the plate thinking...gotta get a hit, gotta get a homerun...just can't play baseball that way. It's too much of a reaction sport to think about things too much.
Either way, I feel the Yankees have the upper hand in this series, not only because it's in New York, but they are keeping their starting pitcher a secret right now. Lowe is going for Boston tonight, which I think is a BIG mistake for Boston, as Lowe is pitching off of 2-days rest. However, Lowe can have more of an impact the Mr Knuckleballer himself Tim Wakefield.
My prediction - Yankees win in 9 innings :-) Oh wait, forgot to include the score, 8-5

I hate those damn Yankees. They rank right up there with my hatred for the Raiders. I'd love nothing more than to see BoSox beat the Yanks.
