Webber & Iverson

AI has help on the way with the blockbuster trade for Chris Webber. Can the 76ers emerge in the weak east passed the heat and possibly take home a championship? Hopegully with Webber is town these days will be over for AI.

No - though I can't say I have good knowledge about basketball and I probably could care less about the sport as you guys could care less about hockey! But AI will probably never get back to the main dance, even with Webber.

Sixers will obviously make tke playoffs, and with Webber, they could contend for the Eastern Conference title.

(I think you mean "East", don't you, Red?)

He had better mean East, because the West sure as hell isn't weak in any way!

Yes i meant East. But the East isn't that weak. After all the Pistons won the NBA Championship last season. They came from the so called weak east.

I think it's a good move. The Sixers didn't give up much to get him, and they get a big time scorer to complement Iverson. I think they are now in better position to win the division than they were before

Will they win the East? Probably not. The rest of the East outside of the Atlantic Division is drastically improved, because you have the 3-headed Central monster of Detroit, Indiana, and Cleveland, and the Daddy and Dwayne show in Miami to to contend with. Plus, you have to worry about facing off with the Baby Bulls in the first round.
