Slow Mo

With 40 times clocked at 4.82 & 4.73 it seemed as if Maurice Clarett was doing his interviews or perhaps the Wonderlick test during his 40 yard dash. This performance made his stock drop big time. Will a team be willing to take a chance on this slow trouble maker?

I'd rather have Ty Law then Champ Bailey

Ty Law was just released by the Patriots. In a perfect world I would like to have Bailey and Law on my defense but shoot why not get Law and drop Bailey?

Webber & Iverson

AI has help on the way with the blockbuster trade for Chris Webber. Can the 76ers emerge in the weak east passed the heat and possibly take home a championship? Hopegully with Webber is town these days will be over for AI.

Birds of feather flock together...

Randy Moss is going to the Raiders for a couple of high draft picks and a up and coming linebacker Napoleon Harris. Can this get the Raiders back in the hunt for a superbowl?

Burress a Bronco?

Could you see Plaxico in Orange & Blue? With Watts failing to come through and an aging Rod Smith would it be a wise decision for the Broncos to go after this top notch reciever?

Great Finish!!!

I'm not into racing, but I do usually watch the end of big races, including this past weekend's Daytona 500, which Gordon finished very strong to take home his 3rd Daytona trophy. This is being dubed as one of the wildest finishes in the 47-year history of the race, 4 lead changes in the final 9 laps and two crashes involving 17 cars in the final 20 laps. Your thoughts on this race?

Defense!

Who is gonna be around next year on the D side of the ball? I know we're losing Pryce but who else are we gonna lose and are the Broncos gonna go after some D in this free agency? If so who do you think can put our D over the top and help carry us since Plummer and the O might not be able to carry the load?

The 3-4 Defense...

Is the 3-4 defense over rated? Is it just a bandwagon in the beggining since the Pats have won with it. The Denver Broncos are willing to get rid of there best defensive lineman Trevor Pryce to transform into the new 3-4. The Broncos will need to make some off season moves to get the best out of that defense because personel is important to making it succeed. 3-4 or 4-3? Over hyped or not? What does Denver need to do in the off season to make it work? Those are the questions...

I'd rather have Jeff Garcia then Jake Plummer

Now that the Browns have released Jeff Garcia I think the Broncos should take some interest in picking him up. I think that Jeff Garcia would flourish in the Mike Shanahan system that the Broncos have in place. Jeff Garcia is a much better running quarterback who would benefit greatly from the boot plays that the Broncos system would provide him with. Not only is he a better runner then Plummer but makes smarter decisions then Jake Plummer does. Let's take a look at the numbers. Jeff Garcia has thrown for 123 TD's and only 65 interceptions. To go along with those numbers Jeff Garcia has rushed 1730 yards and 23 TD's. Not too bad for 6 seasons. Now let's take a look at Plummers stats. Plummer has played 8 season in the NFL and has thrown more TD's then Garcia with 132, but he also thrown 141 interceptions. That's more then twice the amount of interceptions Jeff Garcia has thrown. On the ground Plummer has ran for 1590 yards and 14 TD's. Still less then Garcia in that category. As for fumbles, Garcia has fumbled the ball 20 times in his career to Plummers 31. This morning Steve and I were discussing the 2 quarterbacks and Steve said he's rather have Plummer. I just can't agree.

Crybabies or Legit Complaint?

I'm sure the players have their complaints about wanting a salary cap, but look at what it's done to the sport. Will Detroit and Colorado ever be left out of the playoffs? Sure the players don't want to take a salary decrease, but if they don't, they just won't play. Then what? Us NHL fans are left holding our thumb up our @#@ thinking the players are crybabies.

Your thoughts on this NHL Lockout as well as salary caps in general.

Mighty Mighty Mickelson

This man is on a tear, after winning his first Major of his career last season, Mickelson has kept the scores low and the ball flying long. In a matter of 5 months, Mickelson has shot a 59, 61 and just yesterday a 62. Now has a comanding 5 stroke lead in the 2nd round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

How will he hold up for this golf season, will we get to see another Mickelson Major win? Your thoughts...

Baseball & Steroids

A actor/actress can get plastic surgury to be good at there job. A baseball player cannot use steroids to be better at there job. Steroids shorten life expectancy and set a bad example to the youth. Giambi said he was sorry. Is that enough?

Bashed Brother

Well Jose spilt the cookies about Big Mac, Rafeal Palmerio and Pudge juicing. Was this a publicity stunt for his new book or is this just the sad truth about baseball?

Will Terrell Davis get into the Hall of Fame?

Should Terrell Davis be inducted into the HOF one day? I think so... Nearly 8,000 yards in 7 seasons, only 4 seasons were full seasons. Greatest rushing performance in total playoff games. Terrell Davis played in 8 playoff games and had over 100 total yards in each game. Super Bowl MVP. The guy showed up to the big games. If they let Gale Sayers whose career was cut short because of a career ending injury then they have to let TD in.

History repeats itself...

As we prepare for this Sundays Super Bowl we will take time to remember the greatest Super Bowl quarterback Joe Montana. Tom Brady still needs 2 more Super Bowl wins and another MVP to catch up to this great. Tom Brady's hero growing up was Joe Montana. They are both similar in the fact that they are both great quarterbacks. The question is are they a product of they're systems or are they destined to be great? I think that Montana is on a un achievable level that Brady will never get to.

So long Sammy...

How will Sammy be as an Oriole? Can he bring the Orioles to the playoffs? How will he be with the media there? Will we see any more Corky Ramono impressions?

Running to the Sunset

Your thoughts on the illustrious career of the NFL's All-Time Leading Rusher Emmitt Smith as it comes to a close this week when he plans to announce his retirement. Is he the #1 RB of All-Time?
